How do you determine my fitness level?
Upon filling out a comprehensive health history and PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) along with verbal discussions an assessment of your fitness level will be observed and conducted during your first few sessions. Your customized training program will be designed and developed according to your fitness level, abilities & goals. You will not be charged for a separate fitness assessment.
What commitment do you expect from me?
As your trainer I expect you to make each workout a priority. Pencil your training time in your calendar and don’t push it aside for other appointments. I expect you to do your best and follow through with any reasonable fitness homework I may give you. I am determined and committed in helping you succeed and reach your goals so I expect the same from you! Congratulations on starting your journey to improved health and wellness!
What if I need to cancel a training session?
You must give me 24 hrs notice to cancel a session otherwise you will be charged for that training session.
What about nutrition/diet advice?
I am not a nutritionist or dietitian, but I can certainly give you basic information on eating healthy. There are plenty of wonderful books I can recommend which will educate you on making good choices and living a healthy lifestyle. Remember - eat well to stay well, poor nutrition will conquer, win and get the better of your workout routine!
How do I pay for my training sessions?
I accept checks and cash.
What is Kickboxing boot camp?
Kickboxing boot camp combines the skills of tae kwon do & boxing to form a dynamite empowering interval based calorie burning workout!! We'll focus on proper form & technique so you can master the classic kicks from tae kwon do as well as the mechanics of punching, blocking, and striking (while working against a free standing heavy bag!)! This amazingly unique full body workout will build body awareness, confidence and strength as you progress yourself to a higher level of fitness!
Specialty Group Training Sessions?
Yes!! This is an afforable option to personal training which is limited to four or five people. Building a solid pillar of strength through a well designed core conditioning and full body functional strength training program will improve your overall quality of life. Under the watchful caring eye of your personal trainer you will be able to work in this group setting within your own fitness level and abilities. Work in a group setting with a trainer who personally designs each session cartered to developing your pillar of strength!!
